General account management

You create a profile on our website by adding your professional photo, brief about yourself, your skills, your educational background, your sample of work and your experience to get it approved. Once your profile is approved you can begin applying to jobs on Tmy Mart that match your skills or you can also post your services too as much as you like

Often, members from Tmy Mart’s team will contact you when they find your skills matching one or more of their jobs.

Once you are matched for a job, Tmy Mart will present your proposal, offer, or proposal to the client. Once the client pays the project budget to Tmy Mart, you can start working on your project. Tmy Mart takes 20% from the total value of your deal in exchange for benefits.

Signing up with Tmy Mart is free but only registered users can buy and sell on Tmy Mart.  Almost anyone can find something within their skillset to sell on Tmy Mart. Browse our various categories, see where your skills fit in, and decide how you want to sell. The best Freelancers don’t leave room for any misunderstandings and manage Employer’s expectations well.
 
Before you can create and sell Gigs on Tmy Mart you’ll be required to create a “Freelancer” account.
Please note that all Freelancer are reviewed during the sign-up and gig creation process, and are subject to approval by Tmy Mart.

Our best Freelancer generally:

  • Make sure that their Freelancer profile is 100% complete
  • Make sure that their Gigs are well-written and describe the services they provide in detail
  • Make sure that the work samples chosen represent their skills accurately 
    Tip for Freelancers: Increase your income by offering your customers extra services during the order process. Really understand our Employer’s needs, show them how your skills can help them achieve their goals, and use effective communication throughout to ensure constant alignment. 
If your buyers’ expectations are met, or hopefully exceeded, you will receive a good rating from them—resulting in more employer business in the future.
Employer’s pay Tmy Mart in advance. When an order is successfully delivered and completed, sellers receive 80% of the total order value. Ex. if a service costs $10, the seller will receive $8 for a completed order. For more, see our Terms of Service.

Freelancers FAQ

Whether you are a freelancer or a hiring company, you don’t pay to join Tmy Mart.
The registration is totally for free.

Tmy Mart transfers the money once a project is completed and the client approves it. Tmy Mart transfers your money within 2 working Days.

If you have more than one ongoing project, Tmy Mart can manage the delivery of your project fees.

Short-term projects: Once the project is complete.

Long-term projects: For projects that extend for several months, the project’s payments are divided based on the milestones agreed-upon with the client and achieved during the set deadlines.

At the moment, Tmy Mart transfers the money via:

  • Bank transfer
  • PayPal
  • Cash (picked up from Tmy Mart’s premises in Lekki, Lagos.)

We are currently working on more options and will update this page accordingly and make an announcement via our social media channels.

(Note: Fees for any payment transaction methods are carried by the freelancers.)

A proposal is an introduction or plan that you, as a freelancer or remote job seeker, submit to clients to tell them why you are the suitable candidate for this job. The proposal can include past experiences and the total fees of the project, along with the timeline, deliverables, everything the client will get from you.

1) Making sure freelancers are paid

The biggest issue many freelancers face is getting their payment from their clients. This is one of the top benefits with Tmy Mart. Once you, the freelancer, has agreed on a price and the client has approved it, Tmy Mart ensures that the client pays for their service in advance. Tmy Mart then holds the project fees until the project or the milestone is completed.

Freelancers working with Tmy Mart only get to start a project once the client has transferred the fees toTmy Mart. That way, once your project is complete and the client has approved the project, Tmy Mart will transfer the money to your bank account.

2) Connecting freelancers with a wide range of clients including international ones

Tmy Mart has a wide range of clients looking for people to fill their positions. So we are able to connect job seekers with clients looking for their talents.

3) Offering remote freelance, part-time, and full-time jobs via Tmy Mart’s client network

Through our network of clients, we are able to provide freelance gigs as well as remote part-time and full-time opportunities in a wide variety of fields.

4) Offering workshops online and offline to freelancers

At Tmy Mart, we provide free and inexpensive workshops from time to time. 

5) Large number of fields

With Tmy Mart, you can find a wide range of jobs from digital marketing to content creation to developer jobs, to graphic design, interior design, to data entry and translation and lots in between.

Whether you are a freelancer or a hiring company, you don’t pay to join Tmy Mart.
The registration is totally for free.

Our community is so diverse that you can post just about anything! The only requirement is that the job requires you to hire someone on a freelance or contract basis and Remote Full Time & Part-Time

There are several ways to find the best freelancer or remote candidate for a job or project.

Option 1: You can post the job on elharefa’s job board and freelancers/remote employees will apply through elharefa.com’s portal. All new jobs are advertised across elharefa’s social media channels (Facebook page, Freelancers Hub Facebook group (elharefa’s Community), Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn)
Option 2: You can ask elharefa’s Team to recommend several freelancers/remote employees for you to choose from.
Option 3: You can view a wide range of freelancers/remote employees based on their field of expertise. You can contact the freelancers directly or get Tmy Mart to get in touch with the freelancers to find the best match for you.

As a client, you pay Tmy Mart the agreed-upon amount via credit Card, debit card, bank transfer.

We are in the process of enabling online payments as well so that everything is facilitated via our website.

The money for the project is transferred to Tmy Mart before the freelancer begins working. Once the transfer is received, the freelancer will begin working on your agreed-upon project.

Once the project’s been submitted on time and you’ve given your stamp of approval, we release your payment to the freelancer and hang on to a 20% fee. As a freelancer, you’ll get your money through your bank account or whatever your preferred method is Win-win for everybody!

(Note: Any payments are carried by the client & the freelancer/remote employee)

By taking payments in advance we’re creating a trusted marketplace where both clients and freelancers are committed to their work without fear of payment issues. By not releasing the payment until the project is done, we make sure that the client gets to give their final stamp of approval on the work.

We have the awesome job of connecting talented freelancers with clients who need to get something done at the highest quality possible – for that, we take a 20% service fee from the total amount paid to the freelancer.

Yes, Tmy Mart gets their commission on a monthly basis. As we provide an account manager for the project to make sure that everything is going well.

5) Tmy Mart will provide you with an invoice.

You can definitely meet up with your freelancer and work together, but your payment has to go through Tmy Mart’s payment solution system – otherwise, we’re not responsible for any conflicts or issues that happen between you and your freelancer.

Absolutely! Tmy Mart provides taxable invoices to clients. These invoices include the total value of the project, the deducted taxes, and any other details between the client and Tmy Mart.

Tmy Mart provides outsourcing services through our network of professionals. You can hire full-timers who work remotely. On-site and office hours may be negotiated with the freelancer; however, the main focus for Tmy Mart and its freelancer network is working from home or working remotely.

There is no one answer that fits all. Each project is unique and has a unique cost. The length of the project, the deadlines, and expected outcomes all play a role in the cost of each project.
Moreover, the different fields and options provided by our freelancers and their expertise affect the cost of each project. A content writing project would have a different cost than a website design or several-months-long frontend engineering job.
